Getting your car repaired doesn't have to cost a packet if you know which garage to choose. The best plan of attack is to only work with certified mechanics who are known to be experts in the field - if you attempt to save a bit of money by using a cheaper alternative you may feel displeased with the work in the longer term. If your car has been hit by another vehicle you will not be able to fix the repairs without help. Having said that if it's a small problem you might feel like you want to have a go yourself. Smaller jobs like changing the oil and topping up the water chamber are simple but fixing impairments to the electrical transmission, bodywork or lights is a job purely suited to automobile restoration specialists.
